Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Size 8 Spiny Oyster shell measures 23 mm x 9 mm and is set in a traditional leaf pattern. Sterling setting measures 35 mm x 15 mm and weighs 7 grams. The ring is signed by the artist ?
