Manufactured in 1882. The revolver has floral period, possibly Hartley & Graham, scroll engraving on the frame, with a shell design on the recoil shield and star burst on the loading gate. The remainder of the revolver is engraved dot scroll designs covering the front sides of the frame, top strap, barrel, trigger guard and back strap. The top of the shortened barrel is marked with the one line address, the three line, three patent date marking on the left side of the frame and the left upper front of the trigger guard is marked "45 CAL". The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap, with the assembly number "184". All nickel finish, standard blade and frame notch sights and fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Condition: Very good as period replated. The revolver retains 75% nickel finish with wear on the muzzle, some scattered flaking, heaviest on the cylinder, as well as some minor pitting on the cylinder and a few small areas on the period shortened barrel. The grips are very good with a couple small minor age cracks. The markings and engraving are clear. The action functions but is slightly out of time.
