8169 is exactly what Joe has been selling at the divas the past 4 years. She isn’t just “from the keeper pen” or “one that we really like,” she is what we are trying to make and, just like in previous years, she’s one of the best we’ve cranked out this year. Not only is she a freak to look at, but her dam (6046) is making a splash. Last year as a ewe lamb, she had a great pair—one being “Hombre” whom Dee Brothers just purchased half interest in to use for a lead stud and the other being a keeper ewe lamb. Also, 8169 has a twin sister that is my personal favorite of the whole set (December-April). 6046 full sister sold in this sale two years ago for $16,000 to Petzenhauser, she herself has raised a buck for Mike. Get in on one that is easy on the eyes and has a solid ewe family behind her. These sheep are flat out working!
