You are bidding on a pre WWII Limoges plate decorated by Elite.

The firm of Bawo & Dotter was formed in the 1860's to import porcelain, especially Limoges into the USA. In 1870 the opened the Elite Works in Limoges, France to decorate porcelain produced by other factories. The ceased operations at the begining of WWI when they were bought out by Guerin Pouyat.

This plate bears the Green Type 25J mark used from 1896 until 1920.

The plate itself is in excellent condition and has a diameter of 9 1/4 inches. In perfect condition, please see the photographs for more details.
