Half-stock plains rifle by J. Henry, .46 caliber percussion, engraved German silver mounts, double keyed barrel, re-breeched with Lyman tang sight and hooded target type front sight. The barrel measures 36” inlength and is of medium to slightly heavy weight. The condition is good with some minor pitting and erosion. The stock shows some light refinishing and repairs that are well done. The action is good, bore is very good.The lock is marked “A. W. Spies”.
