H&R “The American” DA revolver, .44 Webley cal., 2-1/2” octagon barrel, blue finish, checkered black hard rubber grips, #6912. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 25% original blue confinedprimarily to the cylinder flutes and protected areas; good bore, action, markings and grips; unusual to find an American manufactured antique revolver in a primarily English caliber however, due to thepopularity of the Bull Dog revolvers being imported from England and Belgium, U.S. manufacturers began producing the style to compete with their European counterparts.
