Gwyn & Campbell .52 caliber percussion Civil War carbine, blue and case hardened finish, cartouche wood stocks, in fine to excellent condition, marked “The Union Rifle” serial #4077. The barrel retains approx. 96-99% original blue, some just slight toning, a few light scratches, and minimal aging. The frame shows 90-95% case hardening dulling slightly with a few marks from saddle-ring but still very bright and fiery. The block and tang show 75-85% thinning blue. The stocks are still fuzzy and show a few storage marks and scratches, razor sharp cartouche, and are near fine overall. The buttplate shows 30-50% toning blue. The action is tight, the bore is excellent. The barrel is numbered “3847” all other parts are “4077”. Basically an unused carbine with just slight storage and a strong 9.6 or 9.7 on a 1-10 scale. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
