Griffin Carved Marble Top Oak Side Board. Fully carved with griffins side board with monumental carved winged griffins at the top and carved crest in the center of 2 griffins carved crest is 42" wide x 9" tall, 3 dimensionally carved, comes down to an oval bevelled glass mirror (mirror measures approx. 27 1/2" wide x 36" high), flanked by griffins on either side. Has left and right hand side open curio shelves, nice shelf underneath the mirror. Base has 1" thick original white marble top. Has 3 drawers across the top, the one in middle has North Wind carved face as drawer pull. All the drawer pulls open up to fully carved leaf. Another drawer underneath the main drawer, 2 doors under that are fully carved panels with flowers, berries, etc. 2 doors on either end, fully carved panels, also. Has 6 oak bun feet at the base it sits on. This is a very uncommon side board or could be used as a back bar if anyone is opening up or has the use for a bar, this would be the one to have! Could be used as a fabulous entrance piece for home or business. To find one of these in this condition today is a rarity. We are attributing this to NY cabinet maker R.J. Horner. Family reportedly paid over $7,000 for this when they purchased this many, many years ago. Has castors that can be removed. The base measures approx. 67" wide x 38 1/2" tall x 25" deep. Top measures approx 59 1/2" tall (total height is approx. 98" tall). The open curio shelves measures approx 13" x 16".

b) For invoices $1,000 and under are BANK MONEY ORDER OR CASHIER'S CHECK. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL OR CREDIT CARDS. Please do not mail cash. An additional $20 fee will be charged for wire transfers of funds under $1,000. For invoices above $1,000, we require payment by bank wire transfer. In either case payment must be paid in full within 5 business days of sale, otherwise Auctioneer may resell merchandise at public or private sale and retain 20% deposit as liquidated damages. In either case, payment must be made in full within 5 business days of sale. Failure to make payment within 5 business days will also result in an additional $50 fee to be added to your invoice to cover additional collection costs.
c) Your bid constitutes a legally binding contract. If you bid on a lot and win (even if the bid was placed accidentally), you are liable for payment.
d) If you are mailing payment using FedEx, UPS, any overnight delivery service, or special delivery - PLEASE DO NOT REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FOR DELIVERY. (if we have to track down packages or pick up at Post Office, this will slow the process and result in delay of shipping items).
e) Anyone who does not follow these terms will receive negative feedback and a dispute will be filed immediately, unless a longer term has been worked out in advance with Tim Chapulis, i.e. over sea's buyers or buyers out of the country.
