This is an excellent hand carved burl wood bowl from the Great Lakes Native American Indians. The piece is believed to be from the late 18th to early 19th century. The bowl shows a wonderful stringy burl wood grain. The bowl has 1/2" thick walls in a circular design and is in good condition. One side shows a hairline crack as shown. Measures 6.5" diameter x 3.25"H.
