The lot features a nice early reservation-period beaded tobacco pouch pipe bag attributed to the Great Lakes Region Native American Indians of the circa early 1900’s. The bag is constructed of Indian tanned hide which is adorned with glass trade seed beads in a geometric and floral pattern. The beadwork shows a semi-transparent red and butterscotch yellow along with semi-transparent bottom section and floral top section in green, cobalt, chalk white, red white hearts, sky padre blue and Cheyenne pink. The back of the bag shows a unique round medallion beaded design in red and light blue with iridescent beads which is further accented by Czech small bugle beads. Measures overall 17 inches in length by 3 ½ inches wide.
