Good lot of Civil War era bayonets, 5 total, three with scabbards. Two are for Tower Enfields, one marked Reeves with British proofs, good condition, one marked F. Preston Manchester with 30-50% blue in very goodcondition. One US marked and “S” inspected bayonet for .58 caliber rifled musket with Civil War scabbard, in good condition. Scabbard shows brass tip and loop shows cartouche with letters not quite visible,just outlines. Scabbard shows some cracking, crazing, generally good to very good. Another US marked bayonet for .58 caliber musket with original leather scabbard, brass tip, showing cartouche “NY” and “makers” visible,top line not visible, good to very good condition. And a US marked bayonet for .58 caliber musket in good condition with fair scabbard and brass tip. Scabbard is worn with folding to the hangar, cracking, and dentsto the brass tip.
