Condition: Very good. The rifle has a smooth dark brown patina with heavy patches of oxidation near the rear sight and barrel sling swivel and some minor spotting overall. The gold inlays are very fine and well executed. The varnished stock is very good with an absent chip and a couple minor cracks on the forearm and a few minor cracks on the stock flats, along with some minor dings and scratches and a few minor gouges. The varnish is beginning to craze. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically needs work as hammer does not hold at the full cock position.
