Manufactured in 1909. The revolver features a fixed blade front and notch frame rear sight. The barrel is marked on top with the two line address and patent dates and on the left side "NEW SERVICE 44-40" with a horizontal British crown over "V" below and on the side of the frame. The frame is marked on the left side with the Rampant Colt and an inlaid gold monogram. This revolver features a checkered hammer, smooth trigger, square checkered cylinder latch, three section knurled ejector rod head and a lanyard loop. Fitted with unmarked pearls grips.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 75% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish with the balance a grey patina. The grips are excellent with light handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent. The grip screw is over length and protrudes past the right grip.
