Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Navajo artist Glen Sandoval with his love of horses brings to life running horses in this sterling watch strap. Three horses on each side surround the 'Liberty 1911' timepiece. Each horse measures approximately 26.6 mm x 11.3 mm and are joined together by ring and connector links, the horse next to the timepiece has the watch pin shaft built into the design. The strap has a circle and bar closure and measures 7" in length at first ring and 7.5" at the second. Each horse is stamped GS©(Glen Sandoval's Hallmark) and Sterling.
