Germanic flintlock pistol converted from flintlock to percussion originally circa about 1780 converted about 1830s to 1840s, measuring 14” overall with 8 ¾” barrel of approximately .60 caliber smoothbore. The butt shows a mask with man and mustache in typical 18th century style. The condition is good to very good with a brown patina finish and some minor pitting. The stock is good with some cracks and normal aging with a wooden period ramrod included. The mounts show a darkpatina. Consigned directly from the estate of legendary performer Bob Hope with a certificate of authenticity. May be researchable as the gun collection of Mr. Hope is composed of sentimental items either used by him in performances or weregifts and presentations. Est.: $350-$700
