Germanic boar hunting type sword with Flintlock pistol attached circa late 18th to 19th century. The sword measures 28-1/2” overall with 23” blade and pistol portion approx 6”. The rear portion of the bladereinforced and thicker in its original mfg. to accept pistol. The grip is of horn and in good condition, the guard is also made in such a way to function with and accept pistol. The condition is good with someslight pitting and erosion and needs a light cleaning. An original oddity from an old New York collector’s estate. Est.; $1,250-$2,500.
