German Nazi-era P38 manufactured by Mauser and dated 1943. Blued finish, factory composite grips, serial #9622d, with correct military flap holster. The pistol remains in very good plus original condition with 80-90% thinning military blue finish drifting at high points and edges. Good sharp markings, matching numbers, bright original bore, very good plus grips. Walther 9mm magazine of a later date. The pistol is contained within an original to the period Nazi-proofed P38 marked holster that is also maker marked “BML” with 1943 date. The holster is in very good plus to near fine condition, just some minor scuffs and normal aging. The soldier’sname “Uffz. Lerch” and his ID “04305”. Dr. Sterling Fenn collection. Est: $400 - $800
