Produced circa 1942-1945 as a "cheap" weapon to air drop en-masse in occupied territories and used by partisans and resistance members to make life interesting for the occupation troops. Though lacking in luxuries like rifling or effective sights, the Liberator could still deliver a real punch at close ranges. This is a three hole model, sheet metal construction with zinc cocking knob and the numbers "570050" (stamped) and "BL 570050" (scratched in) added to the right side of the grip section.
BBL: 4 inch round
Stock:
Gauge: 45 ACP
Finish: bright
Grips: metal

Condition: Very good, showing a mixed brown and gray patina on the unfinished surface, with light handling marks and dings overall. Some pitting is present on top, with a gouge in the upper left side of the frame. The compartment cover is a replacement. Mechanically excellent.
