MODEL 12 SKEET PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 20ga 2-2/4". S# 1968090. Spectacular hand engraving by Belgium trained master engraver Gino Cargnel. Features include gold and silver inlays of Native Americans. Right side of receiver hunting scene depicts an American Indian drawing his bow on a pronghorn antelope. Left scene depicts an American Indian war party on horseback. Top of receiver has a portrait of a Native American. Scenes bordered by decorative gold highlights w/ straight line borders following the receiver contours. Remaining areas of the receiver have wedges of vine type scroll. The golden highlights & scroll continue to the receiver extension as well as breech & muzzle ends of bbl. Sides of bbl. at muzzle has gold & silver eagle feather highlights. Trigger guard bow has gold & silver spear. S#s are gold inlaid. Engraver's signature "G. CARGNEL" is found in the lower borders of both Indian scenes. Bolt & carrier have custom jeweled finish. Docwiller custom beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock of gloss finished fancy thin shell walnut having vivid marbling w/ dark streaking. Contrasting good grip cap w/ brass diamond inlay. Fancy borderless fleur-de-lis segmented hand checkering. LOP: 14-1/4" over a solid black Pachmayr Presentation pad. 26" bbl. with Winchester new style 3 pin vent rib. Fixed WS-1 choke. White target front sight, mid bead is removed. WEIGHT: 7 lbs, 1.8 oz. S# indicates 1963 mfg. CONDITION: near excellent as refurbished. Metal parts retain over 98% finely polished reblued finish showing slide wear on mag. tube. Jeweled bolt shows some slide wear. High gloss wood finish shows a few small scratches & marks.
