Bottom bbl. has sling swivel. Herold trademark dbl. lump locking system designed to eliminate the side to side movement when the barrels are bolted to the action. Gray finished boxlock action w/ Greener style safety, crossbolt third fastened, cocking indicators, dbl. triggers, extractors & top tang bbl. selector. Receiver has semi relief floral scroll engraving that extends to bolsters, breech section of shot bbls., forearm iron & cratridge trap cover. Floorplate has trademark "Herold / Einstr, SCHUTZMAKER / SIMSON JAGER VERSCHLUSS / JAGER'S PATENT". Blued triggerguard. Schnabel tipped checkered walnut forearm w/ matching numbered Deeley release. Checkered pistol grip walnut stock w/ left side shadowline extended cheekpiece, sling swivel on toeline, horn grip cap & 4 cartridge trap on toeline. LOP: shortened to 13 1/4" to White Line ventilated recoil pad. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 7/8". MEASUREMENTS: Bore diameter: L - .655, R-.655. Choke Constriction: L - .23, R- .07. WEIGHT: 7.11 LBS. CONDITION: bbls. have been refinished w/ prior marks & pitting throughout along w/ muzzle wear, varnish over spray & pinprick patina. Receiver has gray appearance w/ patina & spots of light pitting. Left side underside rib shows separation at muzzle. Wood has been lightly sanded, refinished & refreshed the checkering. Wood has good appearance w/ light marks & prior sm. gouges.
