Fully beaded Sioux ceremonial or wedding dress with very extensive beadwork in classic geometric designs sewn on Indian tanned buckskin with long fringe. The condition is very good plus with just some minor staining, aging with opening underneath the arms where worn. A very fine and ornate example of quality beadwork. Obtained from Bob Nelson gallery in Montana. Dates approximately 1890s to 1920s. Gale Kennedy Historical West Collection. Est.: $3,000-$6,000.
