Full stock percussion trade style plains rifle with no visible markings on lock or barrel and simply brass mounted in .36 caliber percussion. The rifle measures 53” overall with a 37 ½” medium weight octagonbarrel. There are odd scrolls on the back and front portion of the lock that may be identifiable. The disc patch box is slightly engraved and there are small typical American style inlays in the stock. The metal shows a dark brown patina with light pitting and is good. The forend shows replacement of wood and about half way down. The stock has had the finish crazed and melted. There is a plaque inlaid into the wrist with engraved“O”. The lock works well.
