Full stock percussion Kentucky style rifle, signed "W. _ilman" (possibly Pilman or Tilman), showing nice pierced patch box, German silver and brass inlays, in attic condition with no restoration. The riflemeasures 52-1/4" overall, 36-1/2" barrel, approximately .41 cal., of medium weight, double set triggers, plain brass mounts. The lock shows a name which is illegible, and the lock is secured by 1 screw. The woodshows a loss and break at top edge, measures approximately 3-1/4" by 1/4". There are 2 German silver inlays missing from the forend; there is a small repair beneath the front thimble, and the barrel appears to have beenshortened long ago between 4" and 6" from the placement of front thimble. The top of the stock behind the tang shows an oval carving where a German silver inlay rested, and is now missing. There is a half moon in Germansilver above the cheekpiece, and 3 German silver inlays on the left side of the stock. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
