French style cannon barrel brass semi-blunderbuss pistol circa early 19th century with Empire style square butt. The pistol measures 9” overall with approximately 4” barrel of .75 caliber. The muzzle shows two pronounced rings similar to a cannonbarrel. The stock shows checkering and is silver inlaid. The stock condition is worn with some losses at the edges and would be considered fair to good. The pistol is in its original flintlock configuration but the top jaw and screw arewell-made replacements. The brass frame and barrel show a nice and un-cleaned patina. No makers name but definitely French in style. Est.: $1200-$2400
