French style brass Blunderbuss pistol with under mounted spring bayonet and center hammer Flintlock, circa about 1780-1810. The pistol measures 11-1/4” overall with 5” barrel showing a cannon type Blunderbussbarrel measuring 1-1/8” across the center of the muzzle to the outside dimensions with a 90 cal plus bore. The under mounted bayonet springs out and locks well. The brass shows sharp engraving and is in very goodcondition. The stocks shows silver wire inlay and checkering on the back and remain in good to very good condition showing minor imperfections. The steel parts have been lightly polished and are in good condition.The action works well. Est.;$2,000-$4,000.
