French model 1777 flintlock cavalry pistol by St. Etienne Arsenal remaining in good original condition with belt hook removed. The metal surfaces show some light cleaning and polishing and now are aging back. The lock is well marked with good cartouches on the stock and show a 1786 date. The stock on the right side shows some small dings, mars and scratches. The left side of the breech shows French proofs and the top of the barrel shows a number 4-0011. The hammers and flintlock parts are all original and a correct style ramrod is included. An above average model 1777 which only needs a belt hook to be complete. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
