French flintlock musket, .69 cal., 48” barrel, brown finish, wood stock, three iron barrel bands, iron trigger guard and butt plate, flared iron ramrod; gun is in overall good to very good condition showing an even brown patina, good action, partially readable markings on lockplate, overall good wood with some old mars, scratches and small losses along the edges of the ramrod channel and one old loss along the right side of the fore stock area; “S 545” stamped on the left side of the butt stock; a nice early French musket with a good look. Est.: $500-$1,000.
