French Powder-tester with center-hammer flintlock design, early 19th century styling, measures 6-1/2” overall, hand-engraved numerals on wheel with bottom spring. Pistol type wood grips. Good quality throughout.Shows two brass braised repairs, good condition, a couple of minor stress cracks in wood. The design is quite ingenious in the fact that the maker could utilize the design of a centerhammer flintlock pistol and addthe mechanism easily.
