French Model 1763 flintlock pistol converted to percussion using large bolster and added percussion hammer. The metal shows a gray to brown patina finish and scattered light to moderate pitting with good sharp lock markings. The stock is good with small stippled decoration and shows traces of original inspection marks. The original front band is retained with iron mounts and correct style ramrod. There is some small losses of wood around the lock area. Many of these were converted for use during the Civil War and this specimen was found in Florida. Est.: $600-$1,200.
