Featured in this lot is a Frederic Remington print titled, "Danger Ahead". Frederic Sackrider Remington (October 4, 1861 - December 26, 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who specialized in depictions of the Old American West, specifically concentrating on the last quarter of the 19th century American West and images of cowboys, American Indians, and the U.S. Cavalry. The image depicts a frontiers man sitting on horseback holding his rifle while he looks into the distance on the valley suspecting something dangerous is coming. On the bottom left of the print it reads, "Copyrighted 1900 The Marlin Fire Arms Co." and on the bottom right it reads, "Frederic Remington". Below the print in the middle it reads, "Danger Ahead". The piece is set in a wood frame behind a plastic covering. The art and frame show good condition overall with no signs of obvious damage. The piece measures 20 1/4" L x 13 1/4" W.
