Francis Bannerman U.S. Springfield conversion to a percussion shotgun, smoothbore, 10 gauge, 33” barrel with iron ramrod, wood half stock, lockplate dated 1848. This conversion is in overall good uncleaned conditionshowing a heavy dark patina on metal surfaces, good action, weathered wood stock; accompanied by a copy of an April 1889 Bannerman’s catalogue describing how these muzzle-loading conversions were made andindicating they sold at that time for $2.15 each. Buyer pays all cost of materials, handling, packing etc. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
