Framed wood and glass “shadowbox” display of six pointed badge marked “Inspector Port of Entry (State of New Mexico) and a basketweave leather holster with small enameled brass “Immigration Service” badge attached, bothhaving belonged to legendary Western lawman Jeff Milton per documents accompanying this lot; also framed in the display is a photo copy of Milton in his later years; both badges are in overall good condition and theholster is also good. Documentation accompanying this lot, consigned by a respected longtime collector of Western historical items, includes a copy of a letter from noted author/historian/collector, thelate George Virgines, dated Nov. 11, 2008, indicating Virgines obtained both badges from Pima County, Arizona Deputy Sheriff Joe Berume around 1962; Berume was a well-known badge collector who displayed his collectionat many police activities as well as at County and State Fairs. Milton served in various capacities for decades as a lawman including being a Texas Ranger, Chief of Police of El Paso, Texas, U.S. Deputy

Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
