Framed display of artifacts with Association to Western movie star William S. Hart. Consisting of Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 178846, .45 long colt caliber, 4 ¾” barrel, re-nickeled finish, hard rubber grips inlaid with faux jewels and bone with upside down T brand with heart stamp on both sides of the frame. William S. Hart and his production company marked their guns this way. Accompanied to the single action is a pair of leather cuffs belonging to William S. Hart with documenting letter from Bob Brown famous Hollywood leather Carver and Western personality who knew most of the early Western stars. He recants the fact that William S. Hart visited his shop and watched him carve leather where the two became friendly. Brown also recants the fact that Al Jennings the famous train robber and 1st Western movie star told Hart of Brown’s shop in Hollywood. He further states that Hart gifted him these cuffs and presents them to Gale Kennedy our consignor. With the lot is a fancy studded and faux jeweled movie type style holster also an original hand signed early publicity photograph of Hart all contained within this attractive display.
