Framed and matted artist’s proof color print entitled “Cream Brulee”, hand signed, approximately 26” x 29” overall by Sir Alfred Munnings (1878-1959); he was a World War I artist for the Canadian Cavalry Brigade and also extensively involved in the wartime movement of cavalry mounts. In later life he was elected President of the Royal Academy of Art (1944) and that same year was awarded a knighthood. As of 2007, the highest price paid for a Munnings painting was $7.8 million (“The Red Prince Mare”) per Wikipedia. A beautifully presented print for the sportsperson or horse lover. Est.: $200-$400.
