General Douglas MacArthur's signature is featured on a December 28, 1951 letter address to Hamilton Fish (December 7, 1888-January 18, 1991), a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New York's 26th district (1920-1945). The letter from MacArthur thanks Fish for giving him a book on Harvard football which MacArthur called "a grand one". Before his political career, Fish attended Harvard University. He played on Harvard's football team and was a highly successful player as he was twice an All-American and inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1954. The letter is framed along with a black and white photograph of the General. The frame measures 16 3/4" x 13".
