Forehand & Wadsworth “British Bull-Dog” DA revolver, .38 cal., 2-1/2” barrel, nickel finish, checkered black hard rubber grips, #52109 in overall very good + condition showing the majority of its nickel finish with some scattered spots of erosion confined primarily to the trigger guard; crisp action, good bore and very good grips; markings are sharp including the Trade Mark stamp of a bull dog on the left side of the frame; popular with the “sporting” crowd, gamblers andladies of the evening during the 1870s to 1890s.
