Flintlock sword/pistol with forged iron grip in Central European styling, circa late 18th to early 19th century. The sword shows approx 4-7/8” cannon barrel mounted on right side of blade with Flintlock mechanismmounted in handle or grip and frizzen, spring and pan mounted on reverse (left) with two keepers holding ramrod. The sword measures 32-1/2” overall with 27-1/4” blade which is approx 1” wide at hilt. The barrel shows aturned cannon type muzzle with octagon hilt and is approx 46 cal smooth. The condition is good with a dark patina, some light pitting and erosion, the action is working. This is a original antique made together. From onold New York collector’s estate. Est.;$1,000-$2,000.
