Flintlock coat size pistol signed Jackson on lock circa 1820s to 1830s in good to very good original condition. The pistol measures 11” overall with nearly 6” octagon barrel of approximately .69 caliber smoothbore. The metal surfaces show a dark brown patina with some scattered erosion and pinprick pitting. The flintlock parts are all original and the stock is in very good condition with crisp checkering and just normal aging. A correct horn tip ramrod is included. This maker was known to have worked with John Manton for a period of 18 years. Est.: $800-$1,600.
