This is a RARE set of "The Flathead Through the Stereoscope" published by N.A. Forsyth in Butte, Montana. There are 30 stereoviews, each one shows a unique scene showing the Native American ways and customs. Norman Forsyth operated a photography studio in Butte, Montana in the early 1900's. By 1904, he was the sole agent for Underwood and Underwood in Montana. He had also begun publishing his own images, most of which have become quite scarce in recent years. These spectacular images come in the original hard case marked "The Flathead Through the Stereoscope / N.A. Forsyth Butte, Mont.". The stereoviews are in excellent, like new condition. The case measures 4.25" x 7.75".
