Manufactured in 1929. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address and "32 W.C.F. on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The upper left front of the trigger guard is marked with the Colt triangle "VP" proofmark and the left rear with the letter "T". The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The assembly number "4687" is marked loading gate. Casehardened frame and hammer, with blue on the remaining parts, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt at the top.

Condition: Very good plus. The barrel retains 25% original blue finish in the protected areas around the front sight, the breech end and around the ejector rod housing, with a grayish patina on the balance and some minor pitting on the left side of the muzzle. The cylinder retains 40% original blue finish, thin on the flats and strong in the flutes. The grip straps have a smooth gray patina with strong original blue finish in the protected areas around the trigger guard and top of the back strap. The frame has 20% original case colors remaining, mostly in the forward portion, with a smooth mottled gray patina on the balance. The grips are good with overall moderate wear, a small chip on the left toe and a few minor dings on the bottom of the right panel. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
