Finely engraved Remington New Model Army percussion revolver, .44 cal., 8” octagon barrel, showing an old restoration to the silver and gold finish, wood grips, #26091. This gun is in overall fine condition showing the majority of its silver finish to the frame, barrel and straps and the majority of the gold finish remaining on the cylinder, rammer, hammer and trigger; extensive coverage in the New York scroll styleincluding coverage of the loading lever, cylinder, straps and hammer in addition to the usual frame and barrel coverage; fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings and overall fine grips with fine graining.
