Finely engraved Colt government model series 70, .45 ACP caliber semi-automatic pistol showing flush gold inlaid lettering, gold borders, serial number 61882B70 and nicely made ivory grips. A Southern California collector had a master engraver replicate the Gough style used by Colt in the pre-war era and added flush gold inlays in the European style. We cannot find his signature but probably an early work by Angelo Bee. The condition is fine to near excellent as restored. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
