Finely carved and silver mounted western style gun rig by Edward Bohlin of Hollywood, CA. The leather holster and belt are finely carved and show the initials RDL over the holster with .45 caliber cartridge loops, made for single action and will carry, 4-3/4”, 5-1/2” or 7-1/2” sticks out slightly. Both holster and belt are marked and show patent number. The holster shows hand-engraved sterling silver oversized buckle with matching double keepers and matching smaller buckle and keeper at front of holster. The condition is good to very good showing some wear and use, and date of manufacture is late 50’s to early 60’s during the height of Bohlin’s career. We believe the patent for this holster is for the spring-release thumb piece which holds the hammer. A very nice rig with great silver. Est: $750 - $1,500
