Fine quality custom sporting rifle on extended Mauser action in .416 Rigby caliber with B. Blindee marked barrel. Shows Belgian proofs on both barrel and action. The rifle shows African type big-game styling with5-leaf folding rear sight, ramp front sight, quick release extended box magazine and stocked in select grained walnut with dowel reinforcements and exotic hardwood forend and pistol grip cap. The floorplate is engraved“JBS”. The condition is very good plus to near fine with some minor scratches and mars from hunting and use to the stock. The action is numbered “1926”. The action and trigger have been fully worked. The quality is finethroughout and we’re sure this rifle was made on custom order by a premium maker although unsigned.
