Fine quality Italian full-sidelock double-barrel 28ga shotgun by P. Constantene of Italy for Phil Katenes of London Guns, Santa Monica, CA, 1970’s to 80’s manufacture. Serial #7126. The gun shows elaborate deep cut semi-high relief engraving wit griffon and florals on each side, bottom of action shows angels, florals, and deep cut scrolls with full and elaborate coverage, signed Grauetti Inc. The gun shows 26-7/8” barrel, choked Cylinder and Modified. The barrels show 98-99% original blue finish. The action shows French gray or coin finish and is excellent. The stocks are of select grained walnut and show an English style straight grip, wraparound forend, finely checkered, single trigger, auto ejectors, with checkered butt and hand-filed raised rib, not ventilated. The stock measures 14-3/4” to the end of the wood. The action is tight, the bores are near excellent, the gun weighs 5.35lbs. London Guns imported high-grade Italian arms and this was a special display gun with ornate engraving used by London Guns as display until purchased by Robert Petersen. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
