Fine quality 19th Century print of Abraham Lincoln marked in block, "painted and engraved by Wm. E. Marshall and entered by Act of Congress 1866 Wm. E. Marshall Clerks Office, Southern District of New York".Approx 26-3/4" x 19-1/2" not including frame. Good condition. Descended in the family of famous collector Keith Coulter, whose ancestor by family tradition worked as a secretary and scribe in the LincolnAdministration. Family legend has it that these prints were made available to Government workers at a nominal cost, and this artwork has never left the Coulter family collections until now. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
