Manufactured in 1903, the first year of production. The left side of the slide has the early production two line, two block 1897 patent date and Hartford address with a circled rampant colt behind the serration. The right side of the correct early barrel bushing style slide has the two line caliber marking under the ejection port. The left side of the trigger is marked with the number "1". Fitted with checkered grips featuring "COLT" in a scalloped banner at the top and a circled rampant colt at the bottom. Complete with a factory hinge box and a box of Winchester .32 ACP cartridges (50/50). Comes with two unmarked blue magazines, cleaning rod with wire bore brush, papers, reproduction Model 1903 box, and custom wooden case.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 90% plus original blue finish showing some thinning to a gray. There are a few scattered small patches of minor pitting. The grips are also excellent with a couple minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The original Colt box is poor as the body of the box has been repaired with masking tape.
