Manufactured in 1907. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.Co. HARTFORD CT.U.S.A.". and "38 W.C.F." on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked with the two-line three date patent markings followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and frame, blade front and frame notch rear sights and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 50% original blue finish with the balance smooth gray patina. The frame and hammer have a smooth gray patina with 30% case colors in protected areas of the frame. The grips have faded to brown and remain very good with a few dings on the lower edges and crisp checkering. The markings remain crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
