Fancy flintlock pistol for Mid-East showing ornate silver mountings and wire inlay in the stock circa early 19th century probably Turkish. The pistol is well made and similar to the French pistols in style and there is a signature that isnot quite legible on the lock due to the metal being polished long ago. The pistol measures 16 ½” overall with 10” barrel of approximately .70 caliber smoothbore. All original flintlock parts and good condition overall showing a replacementramrod some cleaning to the metal and light refreshing to the stock. The silver mounts show a touch or proof mark that appears to be mid-eastern and probably Turkish. There is a small amount of missing inlay mostly to the wire. Est.:$1400-$2800
