Factory wood cased pair of de-activated Colt Lord & Lady Deringers, .22 short caliber, consecutive #s 53127DER & 53128DER in like new condition showing little handling with brass plaque on lid inscribed “In Appreciation To Governor VictorAtiyeh 1977-1978 Governors Top Twenty #1” (Presented at the Oregon Peace Officers Association “Top Twenty” Dinner in 1978). Accompanying this set is a newspaper advertisement stating “Rare Find at Colt Factory, Genuine Colts Lord & Lady Deringers Original Factory De-Activated Guns found at factory in storage for many years. These fine collector de-activated non-shooting Colt Lord and Lady Deringers were recently found by a major Colt distributor at theColt factory. They were manufactured many years ago by colt and have been in storage. We were fortunate enough to obtain the total remaining stock.” (De-activated). Est.: $400-$800.
